FIDI movers demonstrate their commitment to quality by being certified under the FIDI quality assurance programme. This is branded as FIDI-FAIM (FIDI Accredited International Mover) and is the only quality standard dedicated to the international moving industry.

It differs from ISO which is not specific to the overseas moving industry. FIDI-FAIM requires companies to achieve a minimum of 70% in 16 key areas covering finance, management and operations. Companies wanting to go higher still can adopt FIDI-FAIM/ISO.
The audits are independently conducted by Cap Gemini with no involvement by FIDI. In this way, quality assessment is entirely impartial – which means customers know that certification is not just a matter of a rubber stamp.
There are over 500 moving companies around the world which are affiliated to FIDI. It is a requirement by FIDI that every member receiving a shipment from another FIDI agent, should treat it as if it were one of its own. FIDI has spent over fifty years instilling a culture of care into its membership and monitors this closely.
