A Strategic program to address two of the most pressing problems of India : Hunger and Education.
The Government of India has made education for children in the age group of 6 to 14 years compulsory, but poverty prevents the underprivileged from getting full value of their educational experience.
Hunger obstructs education as children are forced to leave schools and take up menial jobs. Lack of education curtails opportunities for development and leads to the vicious cycle of poverty and hunger. Education empowers a child to explore his potentials and earn a decent living and live a respectable life in our society.
ISKCON FOOD RELIEF FOUNDATION, has resolved to liberate the underprivileged from this vicious cycle by feeding the poor with sanctified and nutritious food.
In just three years since it was founded, the program has scaled to provide over 1,000,000 hygienic and nutritious meals every day through an extremely cost-effective program. MIDDAY MEAL has demonstrated and is now showcased as an operating model that can strategically address two of the most pressing problems for poor children in India : hunger and education.

Why should I ONLY use a Trade Association Member?
Moving etc... only recommends Removal Companies who are Trade Association members because if something does go wrong, we know you are in safe hands.
If you see this sign you know that the Removal, Storage and Shipping Company belongs to a recognised Trade Association, such as the British Association of Removals, the Guild of Removals and Storers or FIDI and will therefore be safe to move with.
It doesn't mean that things won't go wrong. But it does mean that they know how to deal with the situation when it does. It also means that if you are still not happy with the outcome, you can speak with their regulating Trade Association who will help you sort out the problem.
In the UK, and almost everywhere else in the world, there are no laws or regulations on setting up a removal company - in fact, even you could do it - and so there are many moving companies operating illegally and without full insurance cover or training. Many of these companies have given the Relocation Industry a bad reputation which is now hard to shake off. Booking a Removal Company is not as simple as booking a Taxi!
Not only do you need to find out how much will it cost to move from A to B and how to organise your move, you also need time to budget and save up so you can afford to move properly. It can sometimes be very expensive to do it correctly! Using a cheap moving company is usually false economy and doing it yourself is extremely hard work, not to mention hazardous to your health.
Obviously there are the phone calls that you have directly with your removal company and then you see them on the day of your move, but there is also a lot of organising that you don't see going on behind the scenes getting ready for the Removal Truck to turn up on your doorstep.
For example, you need surveys/estimates of your Household furniture and personal effects so the removal companies can give you accurate, written quotations with the costs for your move. This appointment might be up to two weeks after your initial phone call, if they are busy, and then a few days for you to receive your quote. (Sometimes up to a week or more if you are moving overseas.)
You may need to suspended parking bays with the local council, so that the removal truck has space to park on your moving day, and this can also take up to two weeks to organise depending on which council they are working with. You need to receive everything by post, sign and complete the agreement of the removal charges and any insurance paperwork to make sure you are covered for damage. Professional packing may have to be done at least 1-2 days before your move and the removal company needs to have enough time to organise trained removal crews for both yourself and their other clients. And that's if all goes well!
Plus, don't forget that Removal Companies can be fully booked at least two to three weeks in advance in the busy season, so you really need to be getting quotes from them as early as possible to make sure you can move with the company of your choice.
